It's the Grandest Stage of Them All! The Showcase of The Immortals! The Biggest PPV in Pro Wrestling! or whatever else they want to tagline it... IT'S WRESTLEMANIA! Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Children of All Ages! It's that time of the year again as WrestleMania 34 is almost upon us! This year's card has lots of potential to be one of the greatest Manias we will ever witness and with such a high amount of high profile matches, it is my duty to share my thoughts and predictions to the world! Because that matters right? The build up for this Mania has been disappointing but at the end of the day it is the wrestlers' duty to defy all expectations and produce an event worth remembering. Lots of crazy things are going to happen this Mania: Ronda Rousey's Pro Wrestling Debut, AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship, Daniel Bryan's in-ring return, the possibility of Undertaker vs John Cena, and best of all: IT'S HAPPENING ON RUSEV DAY! HOORAY! So yes without further ado, it is time to take a look at what is bound to happen at the 34th Annual WrestleMania! Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal CONFIRMED ENTRANTS:
At this point I think we must stop thinking about the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal must become a top star or at least go to new heights, that would be nice and it certainly happened to Baron Corbin but the same can't be said for everyone else. The Battle Royal's main purpose as it always has been is to get everyone else not involved in any major storyline or match and put them in the Mania card, it's also some sort of "appetizer" for the eventual high profile matches to come later on the night. So yeah, let's stop thinking "oh the winner should be this so he can get pushed!" Nah. Now that I'm done ranting my pick for the winner is "Woken" Matt Hardy, because why not? I think it would be a fun choice with him referencing all kinds of Andre stuff in his "Woken Language" and all that jazz. Plus I don't see any other major star involved in the match so far that can win it, yes not even Dolph Ziggler cause who cares about him anymore? I don't think he does as well. WINNER: Matt Hardy WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal CONFIRMED ENTRANTS:
From one battle royal to another we have the Fabulous Moolah Memorial.... erm I mean the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal! Unless you're living under a rock for the past few weeks, you would know about the controversy regarding this match. It was announced that the WWE would be doing a Battle Royal for the Women as well at Mania, similar to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. But for this one they named it after The Fabulous Moolah. The internet erupted and raised all their pitchforks together, rightfully so as Moolah shouldn't be a glorified wrestler, but rather be crucified for what she has done in the past! I'm not gonna go into detail as others have already elaborated about it but let's just say she ain't the "nice grandma" WWE was trying to paint her as. It wasn't so long before the sponsors (particularly: Snickers) got a hold of this situation which forced WWE to changed the name of the Battle Royal to simply WrestleMania. Out of all the women though why name it after Moolah for crying out loud? Chyna would've been a better choice, yes she did porn and all that crazy shit but she wasn't pimping women. Sensational Sherri would've been a fine choice too or Mildred Burke, the true pioneer of women's wrestling. So yeah WWE tried to do another one of their history revising bullshit but this time it didn't work out for them. Anyways there's a bunch of good picks for this one such as Sasha Banks and Bayley. With the limited roster of women we might see some returns too similar to the Women's Rumble match. But for my personal pick I'll be bias and choose: Becky Lynch. Always been a big fan of Becky ever since her NXT days and it would be a nice moment for her to become the inaugural winner of this Battle Royal! WINNER: Becky Lynch WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Tournament Finals: |
