There is no doubt that Toyota is one of the best wrestlers of all time both men & women, hell she's a better wrestler than some male wrestlers plus has top a lot of other wrestlers in terms of accolades and awards! First off she has held every Joshi title in Japan imaginable both singles and tag-team from AJW to WWWA to Oz Academy, you name it Toyota has won them! In terms of awards she was named the 1990's Women's Wrestler of the Decade. She also holds the record for most 5 star matches out of any women's wrestler! Now if we're talking about rivalries and matches my personal favorite ones she had was against my favorite women's wrestler: Aja Kong! But she also had other great matches with the likes of Bull Nakano,Akira Hokuto, and Kyoko Inoue. But besides having memorable matches with women, Toyota can also go at it with men and put on fantastic matches! She's truly a one of a kind talent for sure. In 2010 she wrestled for the first time in the US as a part of CHIKARA's "King of Trios" event and wrestled once again the next two years for the same promotion. She is yet to step foot (not even once) in the WWE but hopefully if she ever will, maybe into their own Hall of Fame? For almost 3 decades, The Flying Fairy has been kicking ass in the ring and doesn't intend to stop anytime soon! Manami Toyota is the GOAT of women's wrestling, no one even comes close! |
